Child care associations promote the education and well-being of children, families, and child care providers.

As an affiliate of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, the New York Association for the Education of Young Children (NYAEYC) shares the national association's vision of promoting high-quality early care and education to all children and families. NYAEYC works to advocate for education and educators while supporting the profession of early childhood education.

NYAEYC has a vision to provide accessible high-quality early education for all children in the state of New York. High-quality education aims to support the physical, educational and social/emotional needs of children, all whilst supporting diversity. NYAEYC works to support and maintain leadership to serve children, educators, and the communities of New York through developmental opportunities, networking while also promoting public knowledge of the importance of early education. To ensure all goals are met and the needs of all are supported, NYAEYC works with a diverse group of individuals to provide support and improve the educational programs across the state of New York.
