Child care associations promote the education and well-being of children, families, and child care providers.

The National Institute for Early Education Research (NIEER) aims to support effective, quality early childhood education through support and research. NIEER believes that this form of education increases childhood development cognitively, physically, as well as socially; leading to a successful academic career and later life.

National Institute for Early Education Research offers advice and technical assistance to educators, journalists, and policymakers through independent research. NIEER aims to provide a visualization of the excellence in early education in a usable manner to policy makers as well as the general public. The association monitors and evaluates progress towards excellence in early education, at both the national and state levels as well as developing and analyzing standards and regulations to create and improve access to quality preschool programs.

NIEER works with policy makers on the state and national level in order to collect and develop research, strategies and exemplary practices. NIEER also conducts research to determine how to effectively and efficiently apply their findings in a scientific manner to early education policies.
