Location: US National

Child care associations promote the education and well-being of children, families, and child care providers.

The National AfterSchool Association (NAA) supports and nurtures the development of education while promoting the importance of after school hours to the community. As a membership association for professionals working within a diverse school and community-based environments, the NAA provides extended opportunities in care and education outside of regular school hours.

As the only national association for afterschool activities, the NAA advocates the importance and benefits of investment in afterschool programs. The NAA provides various tools and resources for their members, including publications and resources that enhance and reflect the highest quality practices within the profession. Along with enhancing the practices, the NAA provides a platform to share ideas and information to support professional development. With a user-friendly electronic commutation centre for members, individuals are able to access training and professional development created especially for afterschool programs.
