Vermont Early Learning Standards

Framework

Location: Vermont, US

Authors: Vermont Agency of Education

The Vermont Agency of Education states that parents, teachers, and communities all shape a child in terms of learning and development. It is essential that all those who influence the development of a child hold a shared vision. The Vermont Early Learning Standards have created a centralized vision and goals for all children from birth to 8 years of age.

The standards are inclusive of all children, from various background as well as those with special needs. As all children deserve proper education, the state of Vermont has enforced the standards to ensure no child is left out. As each child is unique as is learning and developing for each child. The standards have been created in such a way to be flexible to suit the needs of all children.
