Nevada Early Learning Guidelines

Location Pin

Location: Nevada, US

Authors: The Nevada Registry

The goal of the guidelines is to create a standardized outcome of the expectations of what children should know and be able to do prior to entering kindergarten. The areas of development that the guidelines focus on are creative arts, language and literacy, mathematics, physical development and health, science, as well as social studies and social emotional skills. The guidelines are intended to be used by parents and educators in order to track learning and create developmentally appropriate activities and meaningful experiences to assist with growth and development. The Nevada Early Learning Guidelines are to be used in a flexible way with each child, depending on their needs. Milestones listed are guidelines and not to be set expectations.
