Created in 2009 by a committed group of early childhood educators, the Mississippi Early Learning Guidelines were created to assist teachers in increasing learning and development in children. The Mississippi Early Learning Guidelines work to increase language, social-emotional as well as physical growth and development. The guidelines also help teachers improve mathematical, science, and self-help skills in children.
