Kentucky’s Early Childhood Standards was created to allow a common standard of what children are able to do and what they know by the age of four. By having a standardized framework, parents as well are professionals in the field of early education are able to work simultaneously towards the same goals. The State of Kentucky views learning as an ongoing process, both inside and outside of the classroom. As learning is of upmost importance, Kentucky’s Early Childhood Standards have created a strong foundation as well as building an alliance between educations, administrators, parents, as well as the community.
