This domain refers to the interactions children have with literacy materials. Early literacy provides opportunities for educators to talk with children about print materials, and for children to develop reading and writing skills. Communicating with your kiddos is also a great way to solidify your relationship with them and get to know their little personalities. You never know how a child might surprise you!
