HiMama has compiled a list of the top daycares in Toronto with data from the City of Toronto. The top-rated daycares by neighbourhood are listed and we have provided a map as well so you can check out the child care programs in your local area.
In Toronto, there are over 900 licensed child care centres serving children from infancy to school age. Yet, despite the large number of options available, there still appears to be a shortage of quality childcare in Toronto. While we can’t solve all of your childcare search challenges as a parent, we have pulled together a list of the top rated childcare programs in Toronto. The data we used is from the City of Toronto’s quality ratings which rate childcare programs for different age groups from 0 (lowest) to 5 (highest). Note that if a child care program is not associated with the City of Toronto, such as a privately owned daycare, they will not be in this list. For us to have ranked a daycare in this article they must have had at least three of the four programs serving Infant, Toddler, Preschool and Kindergarten, as we feel it is important for children to maintain a stable environment and familiarity with early childhood educators.
