Child care associations promote the education and well-being of children, families, and child care providers.

The Wyoming Early Childhood Association (WYECA) is an affiliate of the National Association of the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). As an affiliate of NAEYC, WYECA strives to provide quality services for children from infancy to eight years of age. WYECA is dedicated to educators and the children they teach. WYEAC acts as a communal voice of advocacy, striving to create unity and professional development amongst all early educators in order to provider higher quality education and experiences to children and the community in which they teach.

Along with being part of a community working towards a communal goal of higher quality services and exceptional support and professional development for educators, members of WYECA receive various benefits. Member benefits include but are not limited to; receiving quality content in regard to research and a journal containing content directly related to child development that can be transferred into the classroom. Members also receive discounted rates for the NAEYC annual conference as well as discounts for NAEYC products found in their catalog or online. Lastly, members are given the opportunity to make a difference in the field of early childhood education through being a leading voice, speaking with congress as well as various other federal entities.
