West Virginia Child Care Association

Framework

Location: West Virginia

Child care associations promote the education and well-being of children, families, and child care providers.

Since their creation in 1979, the West Virginia Child Care Association (WVCCA) has worked to serve adoption, assessment, emergency, shelter, family treatment and independent living services as well as foster care groups. As the association is the voice to many children across the state of West Virginia, the WVCCA works to ensure all children are provided with a strong voice for all children and families.

The WVCCA has partnered with various behavioural health and child welfare programs and groups throughout West Virginia. The WVCCA works to assist children who have experienced abuse, neglect, as well as with those whom have behavioural disabilities or have been faced with substance abuse. Together, the members of the WVCCA strive to assist at-risk children.
