The Vermont Association for the Education of Young Children (VAEYC) is an affiliate of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). With over 520 individual members, VAEYC works to improve the quality of education and care provided to young children while simultaneously improving the profession of early childhood through support and professional development.

The state of Vermont has worked together with VAEYC to create collaborative efforts to increase the quality of care and education for all children. VAEYC offers numerous services and resources to all members, families, and children. The core values of VAEYC is to increase the quality of early education while improving the standards of the field. VAEYC also works to create awareness and to promote the importance of early education and support to the public.
