Child care associations promote the education and well-being of children, families, and child care providers.

Representing over 28,000 public school teachers, the Nebraska State Education Association (NSEA) is a member driven union. Following principles set up to guide the union’s work, the NSEA work to create a public education system to promote a democratic society. The public education system represented by the NSEA is to be of the highest quality and available to all children.

The NSEA believes that diversity is a key aspect to a successful education, that diversity within education prepares individuals to be inclusive in a democratic society as well as encourages them to protect human and civil rights. As education is an ever changing field, the NSEA strives to be well informed, to be up-to-date on concerns, issues and trends. As educational professionals are the building blocks to creating an exception public education, the NSEA provides fair compensation as well as highest respect for all educators. In order to retain the highest quality educators, the NSEA believes in allowing educators to have the freedom to teach while adhering to high ethical standards.
