Montana Association for the Education of Young Children

Framework

Location: Montana

Child care associations promote the education and well-being of children, families, and child care providers.

The Montana Association for the Education of Young Children (MtAEYC) and their members strive to create a collaborative and professional network working towards impacting the education of children and serving families and early care educators. MtAEYC advocates early care and promotes professional development and leadership in the field. As MtAEYC is an affiliate of the National Association of the Education of Young Children, they maintain the national goals and visions on the state level.

MtAEYC believes that after parents, early educators are the most important people in the lives of young children. To ensure that educators provide exceptional learning opportunities to children, MtAEYC works with the national organization as well as various other partners to provide exceptional services to their members. MtAEYC works to instill and strengthen leadership skills within educators, to raise awareness of the importance of the field to the community, as well as providing training and developmental opportunities to educators.
