Michigan Association of the Education of Young Children

Framework

Location: Michigan

Child care associations promote the education and well-being of children, families, and child care providers.

With over 3,000 members, the Michigan Association of the Education of Young Children (MiAEYC) strives to improve the welfare and education of all children from infancy to eight years of age throughout the state. MiAEYC is an affiliate of the National Association of the Education of Young Children and supports 3 local chapters. MiAEYC values excellence and commitment while promoting respect, integrity and leadership.

As the leading early childhood association in Michigan, MiAEYC works to provide leadership and quality education to all children. MiAEYC uses their voice to address concerns and issues those working in the field face, while increasing the quality of services accessible to children. As all members are allied through a common goal, MiAEYC is able to achieve standards, promote professional development to educators as well as advocate for developmentally appropriate educational programs for all children.
