Maryland State Education Association

Framework

Location: Maryland

Child care associations promote the education and well-being of children, families, and child care providers.

The Maryland State Education Association (MSEA) is formed by varied group of individuals working in the field of early childhood. Members include teachers, administrators, specialists, faculty from higher education as well as students. Together, all members of the MSEA work to create accessible public schools of the highest quality for all children in the state of Maryland.

In order to achieve the quality in the public school system that MSEA invasions, tools and support are offered to the schools as well as to educators. These tools give educators the opportunity to be leaders and exceptional educators to every student. MSEA also works to provide a secure retirement plan, reasonable compensation and working conditions, as well as providing both legal and expert assistance when needed to every educator to ensure constant professional development. MSEA states that it is the goal of educators to make a difference in the life of a child, and it is the goal of MSEA to make sure educators have the tools and resources to do so.
