Location: Manitoba

Child care associations promote the education and well-being of children, families, and child care providers.

Since the establishment of the Manitoba Child Care Association (MCCA) in 1974, through a meeting of day care parents, the association has been interested and actively involved with the outcomes of the federal/provincial subsidy programs for child care in Manitoba. For the past 40 years all have been welcomed to join the association, from parents and to educators to early childhood organizations. As of 2014, all 4,000 members have maintained the main belief of the association, that “together, we have a louder voice.”

MCCA strives to provide high quality early childhood education. The MCCA does so by following their main objectives, which include, but are not limited to: financial independence, providing services and resources to all in the province, increase the early learning field within the province while maintaining high standards that promote development and learning all while working in partnerships with all those involved in the education of children.
