Child care associations promote the education and well-being of children, families, and child care providers.

The Kansas Association for the Education of Young Children (KAEYC), an affiliate of the National Association of the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), thrives to provide exceptional resources to all adults working towards the improvement of quality and services provided to all children from infancy to eight years of age. KAEYCE recognizes the importance of these critical years of development and works to improve the quality of education offered to growing minds.

To ensure success, KAEYC works to improve the connection between all individuals in the field of early childhood. By connecting with one another, ideas and experiences are created and networks are formed, all leading to greater success in the field of early childhood. KAEYC also works to encourage professional development for all individuals working in the field of early childhood. KAEYC offers networking events and conferences which offers both professional development as well as networking expansion among members.

As KAEYC is an affiliate of NAEYC, members receive various benefits including but not limited to, discounts at supply stores, five electronic issues of Young Children per year, reduced rates for local as well as national conferences, and access to various references available solely to members.
