Alabama Association for Young Children

Framework

Location: Alabama

Child care associations promote the education and well-being of children, families, and child care providers.

The Alabama Association for Young Children (AAYC) consists of a group of like-minded individuals aiming to promote the education and welfare of families and children in Alabama. The AAYC dedicates themselves to improving the opportunities in education for all children from infancy to the age of eight. These opportunities are created through professional development offered to the community of early childhood education.

The goals promoted by the AAYC include increasing and promoting interest and awareness of the requirements of the children of Alabama, as well as increasing professional development for individuals working with families and children. The AAYC intends to become the leading organization increasing the quality of care and education for all children in Alabama by providing access to reference materials to all members.
